The audience for this LIL was teachers and administrators. It seemed the goal was to share the importance of technology in the classroom as well as how and why. The titles for the pages were useful and made it easy to find information. The home page did a good job of outlining the purpose of the information and it’s importance. The Learn More page did give resources that could be useful for teachers wanting to add technology or for administrators looking increasing technology. The inspiration page seemed to have the most information that supported the theme and the About the Author gave the reader some insight into who was gathering this information. I thought this was effective but not organized as clearly and concisely as that of Saslow. Gottfried: Teachers were the audience and administrators too. This LIL focused on blogging and how it motivates students and they find it rewarding with being able to share it and see how many people read their blog. Each of the pages included snapshots of other teachers or students using it as well as their excitement and success. It made the pages interesting and engaging. I thought it was very effective. Saslow: The audience for this LIL are science teachers looking to create units with the standards. Each page was very easy to read and well laid out. Anything of interest or to look further, had a place to click. It was nice to find concise well written information. I think each page was effective. The standards page didn’t have the standards but as the author said, it was redundant. I like that there wasn’t extra information or information doubled up just because of the page titles. I thought this was very effective.
