4/2/2017 0 Comments Blog 4- march 16thIn researching college athletics recruiting, there is very little out there. There are articles online that can relate but in journals there is hardly anything. Whether searching college sports, college recruiting, baseball, many of the articles are in regards to specific teams or ethnicities, not in relation to my DQ which is, what is the best way to recruit. There are seminal people in coaching, that share their expertise in books, interviews, and television. I have learned a lot from reading the book Coach K, in regards to keeping students academically eligible, building a strong team community, which at a junior college level can often be difficult. In regards to the state-of-the-art knowledge related to the question, some of the articles that I have found and will reference in my research paper are, The Impact of Athletic Facilities on the Recruitment of Potential Student-Athletes, Junior Sports Success, The New Deadball Era, The Myth of the Sports Scholarship, Producing Baseball Recruiting Videos, and As Cutbacks Hit College Sports, Baseball Falls Behind in the Count. These articles give me insight and some information but not directly related to my DQ.
